Booktube-A-Thon July 2016: DAY 4

Day 4, over halfway done! I started The Magicians by Lev Grossman today, but only made 34 pages. Its a really good 34 pages though!! I really can’t wait to see what is happening… George R.R. Martin himself said, “The Magicians is to Harry Potter as a shot of Irish whiskey is to a glass of weak tea.” I MEAN, COME ON!!! This is gonna be good. The morning of Day 4 brought the panic of Booktube-A-Thon being over halfway over, and the fact that I’ve only completed ONE BOOK.…

Booktube-A-Thon July 2016: Day 3

Day 3 …. oh, dear Day 3. A sad reading day for me, lol. I had a long day at work, and although I left work early, I didn’t get home until an hour after I usually do, because of traffic. It was worse today than usual because I work near a stadium in a major city, and there was a day game… so… game traffic… woo-hoo… So needless to say when I got home I crashed on the couch. My boyfriend got home about the same time as I…

Happy New Year friends! Wow, it’s already the 21st, this year is already flying by! Time goes faster when you have a lot of fun stuff going on, though. She is best known best for her most popular work, the Shopaholic Series,…

Here, surrounded by the people she hates the most, Mare discovers that, despite her red blood, she possesses a deadly power of her own. One that threatens to destroy the balance of power. Fearful of…
